peter I simply have no space available for another button. Maybe as an assignable button. But I don't see another option.
I totally understand, suggestion,
You have unnecessary duplicate functions in places they donât need to be yet functions that are practical and need to be available at hand you have no room for, example , song Properties is an area we can access while a song is playing and really only needs to have in this area things we need while playing live and not things that are doubled up in function or never needed to be changed on the run.
Example song volume and pan are things that can be controlled on the main interface and in song detail so why hog this space with this when metronome control could be there with all functions , master on off , individual song off, stop, play, both I would also add in this place the tempo tap and numerical change of tempo so it is available while playing a song.
Secondly why have the song title colour change in song properties surely itâs not something you are going to need while a song is playing , this should be in the pre production stage in song details as itâs something you make a choice on when at home and not while performing, there are greater needs this area should use like multitrack solo and mute facility so you can massage the backing while on the run.
Donât duplicate functions in different areas it just creates confusion and hogs valuable realestate and bloats the software ,I know it seem like itâs handy but I rather learn one way to do something than have 3 options and get confused to what I am doing.
Think of it there are pre production needs and on stage needs and keep things in their right place .
You have done a fantastic job so far but there are things that still need fine tuning.
Canât wait for the final results
Loving the metronome idea I can definitely see itâs usefulness for all users if implemented correctly
Oh just to add, send all notes off, is something a few midi users might need rarely, why not place that at the bottom of this area and have multitrack mutes/solo buttons at the top followed by all tempo metronome settings and then pitch speed and transpose as these are the most likely things the majority of users will want to tweak while performing
