Hello Peter and thanks for the awesome work on v3.4.

Could I make a request/suggestion for a future update please? (No hurry just to be considered)

I’m involved in a new show which requires me to know lots of details about the next/current song such as release dates, when and where it entered the charts, composers, original artists etc. All pure text type of stuff which could easily be written into the “comments” id3 tag.

Would there be any way for an onscreen button to change the main window between the lyrics and the comments “on the fly” so to speak? There would not be any timing info associated with this, just a text display. It will be effectively be giving me the ability to have an introduction ‘script’ for our next songs.

I’m suggesting a similar button to the new cross fade button which would act as a display toggle so that I can do the scripted intro then as I press to start I can also press to toggle back to the lyric display. I’m not worried if it is sent out on a network connection or not as it will only be the band seeing it plus their machines are all set to use local lyrics.

Even better if you could toggle your lyric editor to a comments editor too. As I say, it would be pure text and not contain midi or timing info and would, I suggest, pick up the font size etc of the lyrics to make it easier.
