Hi Peter, good news if you want to call it that, i found the process that corrupts my STOMP 6 to work as expected in SONG mode, it is complicated but i will attempt to show you what happens and how i can get it back to work correctly in SONG mode.
As you are awarethat port 2 and port 4 are labeled incorrectly they need to be reversed so we can correctly assign these pedals .
OK the big find is that if you start with SONG mode and remain in song mode the pedal works fine as expected as soon as you select PLAYLIST then immediately select SONG mode again, now if you press the pedal ports 3,4,5 only you end up with a cursor in the search bar, port 1,2 and 6 operate as normal and will remain that way untill one of the other ports 3,4,5 is pressed, as soon as you have pressed one of those three ports you can then press port six which types in a letter B then if you press port five it clears the search bar cursor, you now have come back to your normal foot pedal operation this then will work all the time as expected untill you exit to PLAYLIST and reenter SONG mode this then does the same thing again as long as you dont press port 3,4,5 you will have normal behaviour of the pedal on ports 1,2,6 again as soon as you use ports 3,4,5 you end up with a cursor in search, to fix this you use port 6 then port 5 and you are back to normal foot pedal behaviour untill you exit to PLAYLIST, AND SO IT GOES ON AND ON.
i have just discovered this pattern but i believe this is not the case on iphone i will thoroughly test it on iphone to confirm.
OK i can confidently confirm this is not an issue on iphone, will check imac soon.
Just confirming that Imac is good as well, but there is a labeling fault just like in ipad
IN IMAC INCREASE VOLUME SHOULD BE MOVE SELECTION DOWN AND VICE VERSA.
ON IPAD DECREASE VOLUME SHOULD BE MOVE SELECTION DOWN AND VICE VERSA.
