It's not in iCloud. The logfile is on your iPad. Open the Files app and go to the Stage Traxx 3 folder. Or open settings and tap on show document folder.
Open Beta Version 3.7.0
peter I’ve emailed you the files from my devices following my last test . Hope they prove useful.
Have you sent it to support@stagetraxx.com? I did no receive an email yet.

Peter i started from scratch with new update on all 3 devices and tried to use iMac as my master with iCloud deleted in imac icloud settings. The Imac just sits there with a message Last Sync: never , it appears it does not engage with iCloud at all , the ipad and iphone do.
Thats the first thing i noticed but this was also the case in the previous version. So in my case imac does not allow you to be a master with icloud.I left it running for ages but still nothing, i only have 20 songs so it should not be slow to react.
I have just deleted the beta on my imac and fresh reinstalled it, i noticed as i opened the program that the icloud sync button was already engaged, now this is wrong as it should be initially off as i dont know what it was set to be a host or master, but on top of that the icloud on imac is still not engaging.
At this time i have used the ipad as master it has created an iclod file with all 20 songs plus 2 folders and the new document so this appears to work correctly, so now i ipad and icloud perfect i will try to pair it with iphone since my imac does not seem to do anything.
The iphone got its database almost instantly but the files themselves have not loaded at all and the sync indicator says that it is done, so iphone comunicates with icloud but does not load the audio files themselves.
INTERESTING!
I went in to the iphone st3 folder deleted all 20 songs went to settings and reconnected with icloud , the 20 songs were downloaded quickly and appeared in st3 folder but my database still showed red missing files were present although all the files were there in st3 folder. As i individually touched the song files the red indicators cleared and all 20 songs now appear to be good to go.So the issue is within st3 red indicator logic.
Back to imac i tried to make it a slave to iclod , again no response, is there a setting on imac to enable disable st3 icloud? Perhaps that setting is off but where is it in imac?

Deleting an app on iOS does not remove its settings and documents. That's why reinstalling it keeps your settings.
I was mostly testing Mac the last few days. I do not see any Mac specific issues.
Please send me the new log files.
I already suspected the missing song indicator to be a part of the issue. Seems you have confirmed it now.

I noticed when i open icloud drive i have desktop, downloads, documents, individual aplications, but NO ST3 , why isnt it showing me an ST3 folder? I know i have it on icloud so i expect to see it on my icloud drive.
I know there is an ST3 folder as i can see it appear in icloud manager but not when i open to see the i cloud drive content. It makes no logical sense.

Peter i now will explain to what my issue was with song data loss,
Both ipad and iphone in sync with 20 songs and everything perfect, now delete one song and choose the option NO , do you also want to delete appending audio and pdf files? This to my understanding should leave your audio and database in tact and all you are doing is removing it from the visual database, but when you then resync by pulling the song list the song gets reloaded without the database, so whats the good in that it means you have just lost all your work, and the message of you will retain your audio and data is only half correct as you do not retain the data. I dont use pdfs so i assume you also inluded loops and lyrics in this if not than its a big mistake , i expect to retain all data not just pdf.
Perhaps you can fix this and use data instead of pdf.

Lol Damir, the option to ask for file deletion when deleting a song was your request: https://support.stagetraxx.com/d/1058-removing-duplicate-songs-problem
Now that it is in there for a couple of releases, I will not remove it.
Regarding your Mac sync issue: Thanks for the log. You need to enable iCloud drive for sync to work and I need to add a check to show a message when the requirements for iCloud are not met.
To completely delete the app and data on Mac, you need to delete the following folder in your Home folder after uninstalling the app: Library/Containers/Stage Traxx 3 Beta

Sorry Peter I see how it works now and why I ended up loosing my data, I was assuming the data once created stays with the audio file even when you delete the song I forgot I was not in playlists, I am actually in song mode and this is different you are actually deleting things permanently in this mode , I like the ability to duplicate songs easily because I have a number of songs I use the same audio track with different lyrics so instead of having three files I only need 1 and the other two just have a changed database , also it’s the last song left using the file that gives you a prompt do you want to delete the data and retain the audio or get rid of everything, so I feel like a dope at the moment.
Cheers Damir

Where on the Mac do I do this ?
I know this was working before but after deleting the ST3 folder in iCloud it stopped syncing and I haven’t disabled anything myself.
The ST3 folder appears on Mac when I create it using iPad but the Mac itself has become impotent
I know there are glitches here and there but to me this version is ROCK SOLID. I am using it for my gigs (with ST3 as backup). TY Peter,
Damir Let me google it for you: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204025
jzavaletta Do you use iCloud syncing?
peter Lol Damir, the option to ask for file deletion when deleting a song was your request:
I also think it’s the wording in delete mode that has confused me,
DELETING SONG
DO YOU ALSO WANT TO DELETE APPENDING AUDIO AND PDF FILES
YES. or. NO ?
this is confusing and twisted not informative.
I still don’t know exactly what you mean by it
What’s actually happening?
does it mean if I choose yes it will get rid of everything and if I choose no it keeps my audio and PDFs in tact but I don’t use PDFs perhaps it will also keep my loops and my lyrics, maybe hm I don’t really know.
Suggestion or similar clear warning
DELETING DATA & SONG
that’s the simple truth
Now you have a simple choice without big words and twisted logic
DO YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR AUDIO FILE only IN ST3 FOLDER ?
YES or NO
Simple yes or no answer
The Data will be lost no matter which choice you make so why not say that in the heading,
The option below is very easy to understand and clearly tells you what exactly is going to happen.
The data is very valuable and should not be deleted by accident so a clear warning is needed.

Thanks Peter, I found the secret tick buried deep in the iCloud jungle that needed ticking in the ST3 beta file to enable sync.
How the hell that was disabled I don’t know.
But I would have never found it without your help, I don’t understand yesterday the same st3 beta folder was not available in that same manager area why it’s showing now only god knows perhaps the fact I shut down my computer and fired it up again might have loosened up some bolts in the Mac and it decided to show me the file now.
Thanks again
Same old problem of red missing files and when you click on them they go normal on Mac.
The numbering logic of duplicate songs is not correct, when you create a number of duplicates from the same file the naming does not progress as it should.
I mentioned this earlier not sure if you got that.
Thanks again for the Mac sync info
Damir

Q: when I choose “sync with iCloud” which file/files does it point to or sync with? I have several backups in the same folder. No idea which is the “sync” file. Am I missing something?
It does not point to any file. It uses an iCloud database. Don't ask me why you need an enabled iCloud drive. This is a mystery that only Apple can explain.

Feedback on export .stsa file .
I haven’t managed to work this out or test it, I can save it but I can’t load it I know you just tap on it or drag it but it never loads anything back.
Here’s my 2 cents worth.
I expect to be able to in song mode to slide to left on a song where I get the nice duplicate option to also have a save button when touched it presents me with a prompt to where I want to save it, and it should show me the already named song name in the naming column so I don’t have to name this song again and it should notify me to what type of file it is going to be by having a .stsa at the end of this box, now the colour Tag I don’t understand to why it’s there and what will it do for me later because I have not managed to load the .stsa back to my beta version so I don’t understand why it is not allowing me to load it.
Having to select, edit then find and choose a file , than having to relable it, and possibly tag it, is very labour intensive and time consuming why not just a swipe to left select save confirm the destination check the already correct name and which file type you will end up and it’s Done, this is much smoother and understandable, at the moment you have no idea what file type you will end up with and you have to go through a maze of button pushes to achieve this, yes I understand you need to do this for multiple songs but why make it so hard for single song transfers which I think most will use as a handy way to pass on songs to others.
I have not read the instruction manual and I don’t intend to as it can cloud my logical judgement on how things could be improved.
It’s a bit like don’t listen to other peoples music to much as it might limit you original music creativity.
In short, I find export functionality and import is not in one neat place, and it’s confusing to what and where to import.
Cheers Damir
Damir I will make a note to improve song import/export in version 3.8 if it will still be in use as most use cases for this function will be replaced by iCloud sync.
Damir The numbering logic of duplicate songs is not correct, when you create a number of duplicates from the same file the naming does not progress as it should.
I have just reused the naming functionality for duplicating playlists. Nobody complained about that in the last years. Your points are valid but will not affect normal users as most will rename the song after the duplication anyway.
Damir I also think it’s the wording in delete mode that has confused me,
I don't see your proposal being an improvement. It just turns the reasoning around.
