JDSMUSIC Don't confuse adding songs to a playlist with adding a playlist. We have been talking about sorting when adding playlists, not adding songs to a playlist. Adding songs will of course place them at the bottom, that's what makes most sense.

      Nicke job, I am impressed. Tried the new version on two gigs, very good, and now this update.

      A question, did you looked at midi pedals connection, you said, it was a bug in that module.

      I have bought the newest, and are using old and beside each other’s, works pretty well.

        JDSMUSIC Please read my previous reply! It makes no sense sorting playlist contents by default!

        Spelolle Yes, version 3468 has the following fix:

        "Fixed bug that prevented receiving midi messages from ports present during app startup"

              peter ok. I can get around this by adding song to playlist in iTunes, sorting it, then resend ti iPad. Add songs from playlist, delete orig playlist, rename importxxxx to orig name.

                  JDSMUSIC You don't need to do that. In the toolbar there is an icon to sort your playlist. It just doesn't make sense to sort automatically when adding songs. I would like my songs to be added to a playlist in the order I choose them in the song picker.

                      peter yes, I see your rationale. I follow a slightly different model. My “playlists” are really songlists by genre that I choose to play from by finding what I want and then adding it to the queue. Even with your A to Z annotations in the margin of songs, With 500 songs my way is faster and easier(for me).

                          Would it be possible in a future version to allow backup to Google Drive or Dropbox? My iPad is only 16G and all unnecessary apps and data has been removed. I just tried a backup and Status got to 11:55 and then got “Ipad Storage Full”. Went to ipad storage and only thing I am not using is orig StageTraxx which would only free up 29.1MB. I guess I will have to rely on iTunes for backup.

                            JDSMUSIC . Got around it. I remembered that you said the songs are now stored in a StageTraxx database and did not rely on music library. Since I will be using a second ipad to play break music I deleted those playlists from the ipad Music Library (even though I had not added them to ST3. This freed up enough space to allow me to complete a backup!

                                JDSMUSIC Well, once you created the backup file, you can move it to Dropbox or anywhere else in the cloud using the Files app. But for the backup itself, I'm afraid you need to have double the space of your songs.

                                Maybe I will add an option to only backup the database data, but I am hesitant as I fear that users might get confused about which backup contains anything and which only the database.

                                    I’m good with it the way it is. This iPad is about four years old. Since my existing backup iPad can’t run IOS12 I will get a new one with 32 GB.

                                    Been playing with this new version all afternoon. I REALLY REALLY LIKE IT! You covered all the short comings of old version.

                                    Just downloaded v3521. I found that the database seems to be intact. I will test today and setup for my gig tomorrow. I’ll report back on Tuesday.

                                    peter I love the fact that it backs everything. Yes, the backups are larger, but I like knowing it ALL will be restored if I have a problem

                                      Gigged with v3521 last nite with no incidents.

                                      One thing I noticed during my prep Monday, I inadvertently double tapped the "Play" position song. The display went down to the bottom. I didn't know what happened but noticed what was supposed to be the "Play" song was at the bottom of the list. I don't know if that is the intended function but almost freaked me out.

                                      I have a request if it's possible in future updates: Is it possible to have the app change the chords in lyrics in relation to pitch change of the song?

                                          Hello Peter i 've tested your new version and I still have a problem . I don’t understand the logic of this version .
                                          you put colors in the playlist category but we can’t move the next cursor when playing another song why ? Why when (in playlist mode ) we can't change the cursor play song when we have selected one song one thing ?
                                          And sincerely I keep not understanding the useful cue list . for example I have some songs that are cut into several pieces . Leaving free some moments in the song to improvise . How can I do that?
                                          if every time I pick a game it separates me from the others by making it go up?
                                          why not leave a mode like the old one for those that it suited. With a fixed program and the ability to move functions next song and playing as we want ?

                                            What is the point of the “Done” purple bar? Can I get rid of that? I just need the Play and Next bars.
