I would like to report a visual bug/glitch that I have reported before,

but that I have found to still be around in the latest build of ST4. (4.0.3, build 2593).
The problem is that regions are displayed twice at the top of the playback window, (see attached image) but not in the region editor (see attached image).
I have experienced this glitch in earlier versions of ST4 and it still seems to linger on in the latest build.
It may be due to my method for creating regions, where I import audio files in AIFF format with region markers from Logic Pro and then switch them for AAC files after loading region info, to save storage space. I describe the steps in the formal bug report below.

Issue Description: Duplicated display of regions in playback window
ST4 Build: 2593
Device: MacBook Air (M3)
OS Version: MacOS Tahoe 26.3
Steps to Reproduce:
• Create a new song
• Import audio file for melody in AAC (M4A) format to first track
• Import audio file for backing instruments in AIFF format to the second track
• Load regions from AIFF file into ST4
• Edit regions for naming and coloring
• Switch the AIFF file for the backing instruments to an AAC file with the same content compressed
• Close the song details window and look at the playback window
Expected Behavior:
Regions are displayed at the top of the playback window
Actual Behavior:
Each region is displayed twice at the top of the playback window
Additional info:
The glitch may be due to my method of loading the AIFF file containing the region markers as the second track in the song (I usually want the melody to be the first track to make it easily accessible in the mixer window). I will do some research on this, but wanted to report before starting with experiments, if there is someone else that uses the same method as me for loading regions into ST.
UPDATE: I switched the AAC file for the old AIFF file and loaded regions again and no duplicates were visible.
I switched the AIFF for the compressed AAC file, and still no duplicates where visible.
I.e., I can not reproduce the problem and don't know why this is happening to me sometimes.
UPDATE 2: I decided to do some further investigation and created a new song from scratch and loaded the same files as before into the song and tried to use the exact same procedure to load regionas and reproduce the glitch. No duplicates. As further info I can tell that I use my iCloud file storage to store the temporary files to be loaded into ST. Can the glitch be due to wobbly network loading into ST? My WiFi is quite fast and I haven't experienced any other problems with this method, though.
Anyhow, the problem seems to be easily remedied by just reloading the regions when this occur.
