I recall we had a good argument on here about this. I was against the idea of common access to my files to be honest. I think a band duo trio should have one organiser, and my point was that you would do a gig, sing mustang sally or whatever, and post gig, collectively agree, it needed another chorus, it needs drums to drop down to just hi hats while the singer tries to prompt the crowd to sing the last verse blah blah blah. I don’t think a band or any act would be changing more than a few songs at a time ( 3 or 4) I think it’s easy or easier to nominate someone to create this new file and email it or google it to the band and explain the changes, rather than have Peter spend hours adding features that are widely available already outside of st4. Ok so I was shouted down on this on the old argument of “ if you don’t want it don’t use it”, but I’ll argue there are so many requests for feature updates on here that could benefit more people where a workaround currently doesn’t exist,
So that’s my view, to end, I would suggest that it’s easier to give everyone a usb stick with an edited file on, and tell them what’s changed versus getting to a gig clicking on a song and realising that someone has deleted or changed your lyric, your midi commands etc.
But if this what people want good luck, it’s all down to Peter.
Cheers
