Airturn STOMP 6 Problem

peter Thanks Peter, i am really confused, is your airturn a STOMP 6, if not than theres a good chance it will work as my DIGIT 3 works fine, so its making me think its the stomp 6 , specially if they got their ports ass about face its possible they stuffed something else up.
I can live with it as i use PLAYLIST on stage and do not normally go to SONG mode unless absolutely necessary, i normally have all my performance songs in a playlist and stay in the playlist for each gig.
Its just that this strange STOMP 6 behaviour in SONG makes it look like its the ST3, but its now looking like the IPAD and STOMP6 are not a good match and its the STOPMP 6 thats the culprit,
My best solution is buy a more up to date foot pedal, and that could be why they have new versions of the same product and thats because they couldnt get it perfect on the STOMP 6.
So buyers be aware dont buy a stomp 6 get the more up to date models.

I have an Airturn PED as I wrote above.

If you plan to buy an Airturn device, make sure it supports the AirDirect operating mode. In this mode the pedal does not send keyboard events but acts more like a MIDI pedal. Pedals with the AirDirect mode behave much better than those that only have keyboard mode. The current generation of Airturn products (BT200) all have AirDirect mode.

Stomp 6 is no longer available for purchase (at least in Germany).

peter Thanks for the tip, i will definitely upgrade, ive never been happy with the design of STOMP 6 , i dont like using rechargeable batteries as they dont last as long as a normal battery and i dont want another power supply chord to clatter the floor, but the poor design of the STOMP 6 doasnt allow easy battery replacement , you have to use a screw driver to remove the panel to access the battery compartment, this really sucks , but at the time thats all that was available so i will consider a lot more factors with a new purchase.
I appreciate your technical advice.

Where are you finding stock of anything from Airturn in Australia?
I was already refunded for my backorder of the Digit III.
Might have to go iRig instead, but a foot pedal only works for my standing gigs.

Mannys Music and StoreDJ are sister companies. If you go into the product on either site, you'll see it is not actually available. That's exactly who refunded me. It's all bait & switch now with online shopping, especially when the product is currently marked down at the same time that they can't supply it!

They're still taking orders, despite knowing they can't get stock. But at least it's no longer on PROMO AT THE SAME PRICE. (StoreDJ was the same, but Mannys was more compact for a screenshot showing no in-store/online availability.)

MasterAnt bummer! I didn’t know that, perhaps hunt around the bigger musical stores that have websites, with luck they might have some in the store.
