It’s hard going being an act these days, it used to be a matter of learning your instrument, the chords and learning the lyrics and gigging. Everything changes, you have to learn about so much tech now, like how your play back app works, wireless midi, setting up secure but open personal WiFi networks and wired networks etc, then you find gear that claims to work often does, and often lets you down too, so you have to be diligent and that means scouring multiple forums and asking lots of questions. I hope you get the result you want soon mate. I spent an entire summer programming lights for my show, 20 hours some songs took, only to be told my rigging is blocking the stage or the tv, can you put your lights behind you on the floor etc, don’t let this take over your life ….good luck.
