Thanks peter ! I have overlooked the option "Toggle Autoplay" when press-n-hold the songs in playlists. I found it and it works as expected! Sorry for the false alarm.

Not sure if I should open a new thread for this (a feature). I want some songs to show the lyrics, but some PDF. Current setup is that we can only pick 1 type to show (either lyrics or PDF) in a queue/playlist. Can we do this at song level within the queue/playlist? For example, I have 5 songs in the playlist, song 1, 3, 5 to show lyrics, while song 2, 4 show PDF, instead of removing the PDF of song 1, 3, 5. Is this possible?

No, that's not possible. You can create a new thread for this feature and let's see if this is something others would use as well.

Did the "Waveform seek during playback" enable/disable (formerly in the Playback settings) dissapear or am I too blind too find it in ST4? Would be good if that could be available.

I spend the day mostly with performance optimizations on the list views. I really hope that these optimizations are sufficient for users with large song libraries because I am now running out of ideas where to optimize even further.

BTW, I didn't see this in the release notes anywhere (apologies if I missed it), but on the Song Details -> Regions tab, there is a new Waveform Source button that let's you select which individual audio track, or All Tracks (Mixdown), to use for the waveform.

The other possibility is that this a partially implemented new feature that snuck through 🙂
While it re-draws the waveform based on selected track, playback is still combined mixdown (I know some people were asking for both waveform AND audio to be a specific track).

Is it possible to load a song with 1 tap and add a song to the queue with a double tap? It's still loading all the songs to queue when I single-tap.

kenrye There is a swipe right gesture for that instead of the double tap.

peter I see that. But when I click on a song, it adds the songs after it in the main song list to the queue list. I end up with 80 songs in the queue. If I add a song to the queue by sliding right, It adds it to the bottom of the now 80 songs in the queue.

kenrye On my side it adds 100 songs 🙂 I never use the queue though, I always select my next song from the song list.

kenrye There are two actions on swipe right: "Play Next" and "Add to Queue". Select what you need.

Or you can just disable Automatic Queue Handling and take care of the queue yourself. Single tap is then disabled and double tap will add the song to the queue.

Lishy Thank you very much for your concern. I did indeed take a day off yesterday. The reason I am pushing on these updates is that on Saturday the 25th I am leaving for a 2 week vacation and I would like to have as many issues fixed by then as possible. I don't plan on doing any fixes during my vacation (in fact my laptop will stay at home), just stay in touch with the forum. So please no worries, I am aware of my limits and will take enough time off.

This update focused on fixing and improving performance of the lyrics viewer. And I managed to shave a couple of % cpu load off while increasing the accuracy of highlighting lyrics to roughly 5ms within the timestamp you set.

Tap tempo in mixer now needs at least 3 taps with similar time intervals between them to change the tempo
Improved precision of timestamped scrolling while reducing cpu load
Title view will ignore accessibility text size settings as that could break the layout
Current text size is displayed when changing it in Lyrics View

Sending large sysex messages fails due to length restrictions
Zoom gesture not working properly with text lyrics
Manual scroll override will no longer highlight current line

Hi Peter.... ST4 is looking great so far! Will there be a "Search" function for the playlists? Sometimes I need to find a song within a playlist and I don't want to exit the playlist to the song list. Thanks Peter! Gary
