Damir since you have plenty of height in that area i would dedicate equal space for every button on the top surface instead of the scroll that moves freely wherever, creating fixed 8 pigeon holes on iPads , 4 for iPhone landscape and 2 for portrait
Which area do you mean. Honestly, I am also not happy yet with the placement of the assignable buttons. Having them in the playbar at the bottom is progress as they stay visible when the mixer shows but The scrolling button list is not nice to look at and not practical if you need to scroll to get to a button.
Damir Auto manual scroll, at the moment its confusing how to get back to auto scroll.
As soon as you scroll manually, a new button shows up above the zoom buttons (instead of scroll speed buttons) to reenable autoscroll.
Damir ZOOM buttons on lyrics is unnecessary on portable devices , just have them available on Macs.
Personally I also use these buttons instead of pinch to zoom. I like the finer control.
Damir Shivers, I've just had audio cut out in the middle of a song , its the same effect to when you mute audio, it still is moving through the song but no sound and comes back on the end of the loop its on.
Send me your log file and write in the email which song at which time was affected.
AnthonyB Network session client sometimes not correctly refreshing entire screen when loading next song in Queue
It looks like the client received the queue update message but not the actual song change message. Maybe I need to switch to TCP instead of UDP messaging.
Damir I loaded 4 stereo audio tracks and yes I got 4 tracks appear when I selected bus 1 to 4 on these tracks I found the MUTE buttons not actually muting the correct outputs to the buses , track 3 would actually mute bus 2 , track 4 would mute bus 3, and if I exit this song and get back to it all the mutes seem to correct themselves.
Mute and solo buttons work on the wrong channels when you reordered the track list while the mixer was open. This is already on my todo list.
Damir Peter, in multitrack with 4 tracks running the metering in the TRACKs stops working when you go to another multitrack or stereo song , to fix it exit ST4 and try again , the metering is ok untill you go to another song then you loose your track metering , bus metering seems to work ok .
Good catch, I tried to save some cpu cycles by halting level monitoring when the mixer was not displayed. But I forgot that this needs to be checked when switching songs. Added to todo list.
MarkGuitar Any chance we can have the alphabetical quick jump thing back on the list of songs pls, like we had in 3. So useful as I have hundreds of songs.
It's only available in iOS26. Don't ask me why Apple does not offer this index in lower iOS version. Yes, ST3 had it, but was not using SwiftUI for the user interface. So with SwiftUI you need iOS26 to see it.
Damir Peter, Next song , Previous song customizable buttons dont do anything appart from moving a brown highlight through the songs then dissapears ,
Added to todo list.
Sharonzaz I process in ST3 the master with a compressor limiter ParaEQ plugin, and with the graphic EQ it gives me everything I need.
The master plugin slot in ST3 only affected stereo songs, not multitrack songs. The reason is that AUv3 plugins usually can not handle more than 2 audio channels. The master slider in ST4 is only a DCA slider, that changes the volume of all buses it is not a full channel strip and can not host plugins. So I'm afraid this is a request that I can not implement.
Sharonzaz Also while the previous update solved the lyrics being late, now the last one some of the lyrics are fine while some are oddly late as well randomly
Randomly or always the same songs?
