Correction: It seems that the title index on the right hand side of the table captures the touch events. If you disable the index by choosing sort by artist, the problem is gone. Maybe I will just switch the position of the label "Filter" and the button so that the button will not be in the same horizontal position as the index.

New beta build 4633

Only a small update to reposition the sort and filter elements to prevent the section index from stealing touch events.

A great improvement- thanks for the quick response

Peter another small issue. When in the playlist view and you tap a playlist to view its list of songs, the tool bar for adding new songs or setting the playlist volume etc is hidden. It seems you have to open then close the lyrics view of the current song before the tool bar appears. I’m testing on an IPAD 6th gen running iOS 13.3. Do you find this?

Yes, I see that happening from time to time but I can't reproduce it with some specific steps. It sometimes just does not work. But this is a problem that exists since the first beta of version 3. It is very hard to get the mini player and a toolbar to work together. I have already spent very much time trying to improve this but I think I reached a point where I can't further improve this behavior.

Is there any way a user can delete of rename a filter? If not do you thing this might be a useful feature that you could add easily?

Sorry I’ve just spotted how to do it!

Hey, @peter.
the beta is asking me to buy it again. Is this really the case?

Purchases on Testflight apps are not real purchases. Your credit card is not billed. The in app purchase dialog does say so.

    @peter
I love love love the Auto-hide Songlist and highlighted lyrics to the top features. I haven't gigged with it yet but it seems very stable indeed. The only oddity that I've found is that the "Insert Timecode" button sometimes does not detect that I touched it. It took several tries for it to input the timecode at one particular section of a song. A minor annoyance but maybe that button should be bigger. Other than that, I've had an excellent experience so far!
    Thank you!

Peter can you please check this out when NOT using the advanced queue mode and are working with playlists. Say you have finished using the current playlist and want to select another one. If you go to playlists, NOT using the <playlists icon at the top left of screen but instead close the lyrics view and tap on the playlists icon right at bottom of screen, this is what happens as follows. Select and open the playlist you want. Then choose a song and press play and you will see that the playlist displayed is not the right one but the one used previously. Can you reproduce this problem?

DickyDutch Yes I can reproduce this. I will have a look at this.

SoloGuy The button seems to work fine for me. The only change there was to make the position slider bigger and that should have no effect on the button. I can't increase the size of the button as that would decrease the visible lyrics area which is already smaller than I would like.

          AUTOPLAY on/off is not Recognized
I have my break music in playlists for 15-20 minutes. These playlists are set to autoplay On. When it’s time for a break I choose one of these lists and add to Top of Queue. When last break song plays the player does not stop even though remaining songs in queue were added with AUTOPLAY Off.

When changing sort view to Artist we loose the “ a b c d ....” at end of line to allow quickly finding specific artist.

That's intended. If the queue has autoplay off and you add a playlist to the queue, the autoplay setting of the queue will not change. If you want to use the playlists autoplay setting, you need to replace the queue with the playlist contents.

Yes, that's not possible, as the index on the right hand side has to correspond to the sections in the table. When you sort by Artist, you can have multiple artists starting with the same letter. It is simply not possible to display the index for this type of ordering.

Maybe it's my fingers - not enough capacitance. As I said, it's a minor annoyance. Maybe I'll use a capacitive pen when inputting time code.

Hi Peter, I go away for a couple of weeks and it’s all change lol. Good to see.

im having trouble loading the beta from the link above. TestFlight is asking me for a redeem or invitation code.

              any ideas?

              Brian

Beejaywh If you use the above link on your iPad it should automatically add the app to Testflight. So make sure to install Testflight, and than tap on the link in the first post.

Got it thank you Peter. My router was not letting me see the app properly
