I found something buried deep in Apples documentation. The Route button has been removed from iOS17 and replaced with a new component dedicated to select remote audio destinations.

I will see if I can use the new component to switch routes in iOS17. If it works, it will be part of the next update.

My old pad is on 12.5.7 and the newest is on 15.6.1

Neither devices work with st3 and airplay.

Remember, prior to iOS17 you can not Airplay directly to a Macbook. You need to have Airserver running on the Macbook or it will not show up on the iOS devices.

Both iOS15 and iOS16 work fine on my end.

I have just released version 3.8.10 that fixes the missing Airplay button on iOS17.

Kevtyler PCs don't implement any Airplay functionality by themselves.

I’ve updated iOS and st3, I can see the button in st3 settings now, but I still think you can’t use ones pc as a receiver without a 3rd party app.

I thought someone would have jumped in by now. You said that ios17 allowed Mac books to receive airplay from whatever app was playing music on an iPad on the same network. I’m still wondering if it works for windows. My pad and my pc both see my television via airplay but don’t see each other.

Sorry, I don't use a PC. And I don't think there is Airplay implemented in Windows.

It seems to me that the air server app wants to check licensing details on the web before it runs the program, this is no use to me I’m afraid. Maybe this situation changes after purchase but I’m not going to bother.
