So after updating my Mac Studio, Stage Traxx 3 did work for awhile but after a recent update of Stage Traxx 3 I now have no sound on playback of a track to practice to. My sound works for everything else I have on my computer, plug ins, logic, Apple Music, etc...but no sound in Stage Traxx 3. Anyone have any ideas? My sound is playing through a MOTU 828es...I know it worked initially but just recently Ive got nothing, Ive checked all the levels, I checked in settings, nothing. Please help. Thanks.

hulk7999 shut down all other apps and restart ST3 only, if that doesn't bring up your audio,
restart your computer with all apps and audio hardware disconnected, then fire up ST3 only and see if you have audio out of the computer speakers, if so, plug in your audio hardware and in settings make sure that your interface is selected, if that doesn't work go to your bar pull out a bottle of Johny and drink it 😂

I’ve just updated my phone and I am experiencing the same problem - no audio out when song is playing. In settings my audio device setting shows disabled and I can’t enable it ???

Hookey i just remembered , i have had MUSIC app hog my audio out on number of occasions lately where i get no audio in ST3 but my music files play , to fix this just shut down music, i wonder if this is a bug we are all experiencing in the latest OS update? 🤔

hulk7999 just had another thought , in settings, audio Routing, stereo song output is on STEREO and not Disabled cause that will kill your sound.

Make sure your tracks are routed to the correct outputs in Settings > Audio Routing. If you see Disabled, just tap on it and select another output.

And if you are running macOS Catalina, make sure to update to version 3.8.1 as the previous version did not work correctly on multitrack audio interfaces.

I still have a problem with this, pressing play doesn't start the audio, I gave to move the playhead to a section, play, stop and put the cursed to the start. Then it works. It happens with I pad speakers, and usb headphones. App hasn't been in the back ground, I'm in the middle of a playlist.
Routing is all correct and nothing is disabled.

Also if you adjust the volume on the I pad control panel it stops the audio and puts the pkayhead back to the beginning. Is this a bug or intentional?

Damir Music App is shut down - still no audio output.

peter I have looked in audio routing and everything is disabled - when I on it there are no other options other than disabled with a tick

Emptysounds I don't think this is the same issue. Please create a short video of that issue and send it to support@stagetraxx.com

Hookey I have never seen a situation where there was nothing displayed in the output selector. That would mean your device has no audio output. Do you have an audio interface or bluetooth audio device connected? Try without anything connected.

Hookey it should not be disabled it should be in speaker setting , if this does not exist I would make sure I have a full backup then I would uninstall ST3 I would then update to latest operating system , shut down the device and restart it then I would go and install the newest ST3 available and then shut down and restart the device , then reinstall the full backup again then check that audio out has speaker selected , if you play a file it should play now .
You should definitely have a disabled, speaker and a Left and Right speaker selection option.

I am using an iPhone 7 SE running IOS 15.7.9

Damir have done as you suggest and still not working

I am missing the main audio output in audio device setup. That is problem if I want to route multitrack to my digital mixer. It is not possible to send main audio (it means all tracks at once) but there is possibility to send only individual multitrack tracks. In previous version the main audo send option was present. This is big problem. Anyone with same problem here? I need help to solve this problem. Thanks.

peter Peter - Just the iPhone with no other interface .

Hookey that’s your problem , the device is probably too old for the new ST3 3.8,
The only 2 solutions are, stay with the old version of ST3 or update your phone to a model that can run ST3 3.8, I have an iPhone 11 and it works fine with all the latest operating system and ST3 3.8
                      Others might have more suggestions
                      Cheers Damir

Damir how can I go back to the old version of ST3 ??

Damir on the app store it says that my IOS is compatible with ST3.8

You can not go back to an old version.

But I think the problem might be that the iPhone only has a mono speaker and ST3 always expects at least one stereo output. I will take a look at it for version 3.8.2.

For now, connect a headphone. That should work and sound much better than the speaker.
