I think the message error refers to my post.
MacOS 10.15.7

peter
Tried the procedure.
The real path was Library/Containers/de.dikant.stagetraxx3
Downloaded and installed from App Store: the app starts, but no restore is allowed because (it says) it'e free versions.
Resore Purcheses doesn't work. Sure I'm logged in with my AppleID (in system preferences, Apple Store, etc....)

Please help,
Thank you

I buie another license ad Apple Store told me I already had one. Tricky but fair.

Anyway, after re-enabling iCloud Sync the app doesn't start, as reported before.
I'll save the report and try to revert to non synced version,.... again.

Actually it is a good thing that you can reproduce the problem. That way we can find and eliminate the cause a bit easier. Before you reinstall the app, please send me your logfile. If you can not start the the app, the logfile can be found here: ~Library/Containers/de.dikant.stagetraxx3/Data/Library/Caches

I saved the report before reinstalling the app. As I told before, I really need it every day (great app, apart from this last upgrade).
Can I send the report in a private way?

I have a suspicion about a possible cause for the crash but to continue I need to wait for the crash logs that Apple should send me tomorrow.

giaturr Please send the log to support@stagetraxx.com. And if you could also send me the crash log. That would help a lot. You should be able to see it in the Console app. Please select Crash Reports and search for Stage Traxx 3 in the list of crashes.

Thanks for the crash logs. So my suspicion was wrong. It looks like macOS 10.15 and 11 can not use some of the database features ST3 needs when Cloud Sync is enabled. I will have to search for possible workarounds or in the worst case set a minimum required macOS version to use the cloud sync feature on Mac.

peter Thanks, Peter. I'm happy to do manual back up for the time being anyway. But I smell a new iMac in the near future🙂

I think I can build a workaround for the problems on Big Sur. I am confident the cloud functionality will be usable on that OS version with the next update 3.7.1.

But I am not quite sure about getting Catalina to work. I can see exactly where the crash happens but I have currently no idea why it does not work. I will wait for more crash logs from other users but as far as I can tell from the metrics I see on the App Store have been no active users on 10.15 in the last 3 months. At least none that allowed sharing some data with developers. So not sure I will get any additional crash reports that will shed a light on this as I will also not get any crash logs from users not sharing data with developers.
