Damir DickyDutch my backup is 21gb I don’t use iCloud for this backup as it’s too large.But that sounds a possibility and because the database is small it brings up the choice where to save and once you choose on my device it then uses that as the default and works on full backup next time because it has space, perhaps the default should be always my device and let us choose other options and if the device is short of space a message of not enough space comes up.
DickyDutch peter Hi will try to email a link to video of what often happens when I try to do a backup. The only cure for me is to power off/on the iPad and try again.
peter I strongly suspect this is related to cloud services or servers connected in the Files app. I also don't see the problem on my end but I have only iCloud in use.
DickyDutch peter is there anything I can do to correct this or test your theory? I’m having difficulty in uploading the video I made because of file size - but will keep trying!
peter Do you use any cloud hoster beside iCloud? Video upload to the forum is disabled due to size constraints I have on the server. You could share it through iCloud or Dropbox and send the download link to my email.
DickyDutch Have taken a screen shot (from the video ) of the error message that pops up just prior to the blank white screen

DickyDutch DickyDutch I’ve now removed a Dropbox from my device and STAGETRAXX full backup now appears to be working as it should.
