Playlist folders and reordering

Hi, is there a way to create playlist folders like iTunes and Spotify allow? Also, is it possible to reorder playlists without having to tag them with some unique label and then filter? Again, the same way other music apps allow the general playlists to be reordered by tap-hold-drag or similar. Thanks.

No, keywords are the only way to filter playlists and the order is fixed to alphabetical. But it might be a good idea to offer different sorting options (including manual sorting). I will make a note for the next feature version.

Folders would also be hugely helpful!

In my opinion keywords are far superior to folders for organizing playlists or songs. I will not be adding folder support.

I was trying out keywords for the first time after reading this post, but now I've broken the app and can't figure out how to repair it.

This is what I did:

Added the keyword Eagles to two Eagles' songs. 2. Enabled filtering in song mode (per screenshot). 3. Went into one of those songs and deleted the keyword without deselecting it nor turning off filtering.

Now my app is stuck not showing any songs, and I can't change the filter or get to any songs to reinstate any other keyword.

MasterAnt Yes, you found a minor bug. This only happens if you have only a single keyword defined, a filter active and decide to delete this only keyword you have while still filtering. It works just fine when there is at least one other keyword defined. You can for example add a keyword for a playlist to fix this issue.

I will add a fix that will reset the filter in this case instead of showing that error message you got.

No, I am not aware of any standardized keyword tags in mp3 files.

I managed to get my songs back by enabling the advanced queue where I could get back to editing the current song to add a dummy keyword, which allowed me to turn off the filter... Still it's probably a bug worth looking at.

peter I was originally imagining being able to add keywords probably to the lyrics section eg. {k:Eagles} {k:Country Songs} as would be done with other commands that would then travel with the file instead of the program. Then, of course, I'd already have usable filters straight after importing. But after rereading the lyrics section of the manual, I realise this currently isn't possible. Not sure if this feature would benefit anyone else if everyone else is using ST3 as the starting point for their lyrics. (Btw, I'm really happy with the {c} tags you pointed out previously. I've got my tag program batch exporting anything in parenthesis in colour now.)
