Suddenly my audio disappears ! I’m on an iPad 5, never had a problem before- I’ve deleted app and restored 3 times but within minutes it disappears - I am using the headphone socket to a speaker and I can just about hear it exceptionally quiet in the background but no volume??? Help I have a gig tomorrow!!!
Also noticed when pressing song title to go back to sing list it flicks to settings page instead.

There are 3 volume settings: queue/playlist volume, song volume and iPad hardware volume. Make sure each volume slider has a reasonable setting. Might also be a faulty cable. Did you try another cable?

Djs I once got confused with clicking the song title and it going into settings.
When it does this, Do you get the tabs along the bottom: History, Playlists, Songs, Settings?
If you're on Settings, it would jump between the song's lyrics and settings when clicking the song title.
Not sure if your problem could be as simple as this, but it caught me out recently while my brain was busy solving some other problem.

With the new updates, you have to pay attention to the separate volumes for song and playlist. After going through Peter's advice, do you get the same problem playing through the iPad's speaker?

Djs Hi Djs, try to use another music app like MUSIC/Itunes and see if you have audio, if you still have a problem , check that your plug fits all the way in to the device, if you have a protection cover on the device sometimes you cant plug the plug in to the socket fully if thats the case either remove the protection cover or enlarge the protection covers socket hole.
Unplug the headphone socket you should hear audio, if you do try to either use another cable or if you can plug in to a known working powered speaker.
If you cant hear any sound when you unplug the headphone socket and you have all your volumes turned up, completely turn off the ipad and reboot it.
If none of this helps you need to make a full backup and transfer it to another device, and take the faulty one to apple service.
Hope some of this works out for you.

peter hi thanks for the reply - it’s happening mid song and levels are all good. Music will play on other apps like iTunes and has done the same on 3 different cables. I’ve updated IPad and restored Stage Traxx app and so far good but I’m using the charger plug via an adapter in case of faulty socket.

Damir hi thanks for the reply. Once the music suddenly goes I can remove the plug from headphone socket and it will still not play on iPad. I did think of that with a cover on iPad but made no difference with cover off. Today I used it via the charger socket with an adapter and that seemed ok but I did also update the iPad which was only one update out- so seems to be working now but I’m not sure if it was the update or a faulty socket! I’ll puzzle it out! Thanks again!

Hm, this seems really strange. Please keep an eye on it and when it happens, please try to find a way to reproduce the problem. I can then take a look at it. But right now I have no clue. Never heard about something like that happening before.
