No need to leave the window to achieve an outcome its all done on the selected song and its lyrics view window, its much more direct to the point and the needs of the user, freedom to bounce around the song, works well with auto scroll as it gets you back to any pre selected part yet it still keeps scrolling to end, i estimate maximum 60 seconds to set up a song exactly how you want it to perform with freedom once you have created your PDF or Lyrics files.
Imagine this,
create a PDF SONG
Double tap first button Select load
Pdf loads this button and any subseguent button if there are extra pages.
Lets say you have 3 pages for example and you have set an overall time of 3 minutes to auto scroll
As default first page is set to zero time, second page to 1 minute third page to 2 minutes.
When you hit play the pdfs will auto scroll through the views till the end but if you hit any page button it diverts back to that pages time say page 2 of 1 minute time and it keeps going to end again, if you hit page 3 it jumps to top of that page time 2 minutes and continues to the 3 minute time where it will end and jump to next chosen song.
If you need to tweak a time stamp just scroll to a new page position and long press a button.
All this is simply done on the one screen , quick, simple, easy to understand and useable on stage.
Note to Peter.
I intend to use ST3 as all my lyrics librarian, a go to place if i want to perform live no backing tracks needed, but flexability to easily manouvre around the songs lyrics, this suggestion gives me that freedom.
The way it is now is good but not great, i need to randomly get to wherever i want in a song
This gives it to me, auto time scroll still limits you to a fixed time, the six buttons give me the freedom to jump at an instant, this is what gives it that free flow capability. This applies to PDFs notation data.
