Playlist logic issue

Hi Peter, i have found a logic issue with now used playlists highlight.
If you have the same songs in different playlists, choosing that same song in a different playlist does not switch the highlight on the newly selected playlist, it still seems as though you are using the old playlist not the newly selected playlist untill you use a different song in the newly selected playlist.

You are right I can confirm this. Most likely caused by the fact that the app always (no only in playlists) ignores a touch on the currently active song. I will make a note to take a look at this in version 3.5.

Edit: Looking at my notes this might be related to the fact that since version 3.4.6 it is no longer possible to select the same song a second time. So I will need to think about whether this is possible to do or not. I can remember us having a long exchange about this topic and I also remember having a really hard time getting the logic right. In any case an easy workaround is to just select another song in the new playlist first. Just one additional tap.

peter Thanks Peter, i really miss not being able to repeat the same song for a number of reasons, but if its not possible i just have to use a work aroud.
I have noticed apple MUSIC program can loop the now playing song and it can continue auto play to next song but it cant play one song and stop, ST3 can stop , auto play to next song but cant loop one song, this is very confusing and frustrating that standard common operation isnt kept across software.

OK, took a look at this logic issue and could fix it when playback is stopped. When playback is running I can not fix this as it would need to modify the current playing song in the queue which is not possible during playback.

peter that’s great it makes sense that it doesn’t change in playback as it is in use so it should not change anyway.
