I’m old school, we’ll, maybe just old but I’m new to learning about how to initially use apps and files and need some help getting the songs and lyrics into the Stgtrxx app. I have a brand new iPad Pro and have uploaded a couple songs from my iTunes account but didn’t get the lyrics. It’s clear and states that the sound quality is slightly compromised when drawing from iTunes. I purchased Amazon music and I assume Apple Music and others can also be used. Which is best? Also if I read it right I need a separate “music file editor app” to load the lyrics with the audio. In the online manual it recommends “Metedatics” but when I go to the App Store it tells me it’s not compatible with my system. How can this be? I’m running the latest iOS. Which editor app is best? Once I can figure out how to populate the app with the material I want I think I can figure out how to set it up how I want it. Just need a little help getting started. Thanks.

James207 hi James, i can highly recomend TwistedWave as your go to editor on the ipad as it does a lot of things very simply and it exports directly to ST3 i tried a lot of audio editors and have been using this consistantly as it is very user friendly, flexible enough, and just gets things done without hastles.

When you say Apple Music and Amazon Music do you mean the subscriptions? All music subscriptions use copy protection and you will not be able to import files into third party apps like Stage Traxx.

If you buy music through Amazon or Apple then these files have no protection and can be imported. I always recommend karaoke-version.com for purchasing playbacks.

You don‘t need a tag editor to add lyrics. You can do that directly in the lyrics editor in Stage Traxx.

Yes I understand the copyright protections and do plan to buy some of it there, I will try the karaoke version suggestion as well as the twisted wave app if I’m not going to use the in app editor. Thanks you guys.
