Love the app and all the support you provide folks around the world…
I have a suggestion that may or may not have come up before. Is it possible to have the displayed “now playing” and “ next up” songs to have a different font size with the smaller “next up” allowing room for an extra timer. This could maybe allow to have both the up and down timers to display at once next to each other.
Alternatively if perhaps the upper left timer display could be also include the up or down timer?

What do you mean by up and down timers? And are you referring to the network client view?

Sorry I could have been clearer. I am meaning the “elapsed” and “time remaining” counters.

    I would still be happy if to get the two timers showing simultaneously, you were to drop the font size of the "coming up next" song title to make it fit or even put one of the two timers on the upper left in place of the clock - only if this was possible.

    peter sorry guys i dont see the point of having both displayed at the same time you have a fantastic large graphical display showing you exactly where you are then you have an absolutely accurate numeric readout of two choices of either elapsed or remaining time which is easily switchable. A clock to let you know real time and a next song showing, why would you need to see instantly elapsed and remaining time? am i missing an operational scenario i havent considered, can you explain the reasoning for this request as i am always looking for better ways of operating.
    My thoughts of having both displayed, it would confuse me more having extra information in display by having to filter out in my brain which time to consider, normally i would choose one option and remain with that at all times as it does not change and allways works the same.The idea for manual choice is there for a good reason everyone chooses what suits them and hides the other option to keep the interface simple and on stage user friendly i always use time remaining it would really confuse me to change to elapsed time as i dont need to know what i used i need to know what time i have remaining so i can prepare for next operation, now this all hapens very quickly on stage i dont need another unnecessary indicator to clatter my interface and confuse me at a time while i am singing, playing an instrument and communicating with my audiance.
    Please explain the reasoning for this request as i am allways keen to consider other ways of operating.

        Damir Hey Damir - good comments thanks much appreciate it. We use the up timer for cues for certain parts coming up and then have to switch to the down timer the same way you use it - looking to close out the song (it helps when distracted and in the moment for sure!) The song audio graphical display is not quite that readable under certain lighting and not as accurate.
        There is a possibility the alternative timer could be on the upper left where the clock is - as a switchable alternative to the clock (which the iPad already displays directly above) but this is up to the fabulous Peter to see what works best. This would hopefully mitigate any confusion you may have.
        Everybody has different ways of using this great product and that is the beauty of such a great app.

          No problem if this is an option that can appear and disappear but I wouldn’t want to see an elapsed time always on display as well. I also really wouldn’t want it to infringe on the lyrics space if that were the only place to put it, if anything I want the lyrics display space much larger.

          Absolutely @JonathanS agree it would be perfect as the same size as it is now and it certainly wouldn't infringe if it was something that could be placed where the time of day clock is top left as an option.
          The other initial suggestion I had for Peter was to perhaps reduce the size "coming up" title to make way for the second timer.
          Definitely would not be ideal to infringe on lyrics space (I don't use lyrics yet but put song notes there. I intend to import and use lyrics there eventually.

          No worries, this will be just a new option for the clock display. If enabled it will display the inverse of the right hand display. So if you have time remaining on the right, you will then have time elapsed on the left.

            peter I think then making both sides the same and switchable to any three options gives everyone what they might want.
            ALL happy and hopefully simpler to implement.
