peter Auto play might be a playlist feature but it contaminates your playlist if you use it spontaniously while performing.
My experiance is, when i prepare a playlist at home i normally dont play right through songs i just make a decision to which songs should play through to the next and then i expect that to happen every time i use that playlist, now the problem is when you perform live you follow the crowd and sometimes you hit auto play as needed, now you have just permanently changed this playlist but this is not what you want to happen next time as the crowd might be different. So now you need to go home and reset this playlist to original this is a waste of time.
So my suggestion is just dont allow auto play to be remembered while a song is playing. This behaviour is exactly like SONG mode is right now which is great and i wish playlist mode was this way while i am playing a song, BUT you need to be able to program your playlist and i find i normally choose auto play while of my playlist songs while no song is playing as i am now editing my playlist at home i do not need to play my songs right through as its a waste of time and i know what my songs sound like, i just need to activate auto play on varying songs and for this to be remembered when i perform , then again i say while i am performing i need the freedom to change auto play without changing my playlist i have spent a lot of time on to have to do it again and again after every performance, this is a nuicance.
I am not fussed about the SONG mode auto play but it would be nice to have both modes behave the same to avoid confusion, there is no need to change anything as far as flashing auto play etc , simply put jus dont allow the auto play in playlist to contaminate the playlist while performing, this should be done in STOP mode.
This sould also apply in reverse if you have auto play enabled on a song in playlist and the song is playing disabling the Auto play should also not permanently change this setting, to permanently change settings you need to be in STOP mode.
This then gives you freedom on stage to use this feature as the moment requires it yet does not change the default playlist that you have put a lot of effort to create.
