I want to update most of the songs in ST2 but am having trouble syncing up the existing lyrics.
Is there a way to change the audio and keep the edited scrolling lyrics?

Yes, edited lyrics are stored in the database. So you can either replace the audio files in the app via iTunes Filesharing or just replace the files in iTunes and sync them to the iPad. In both cases edited lyrics will not be affected.

    To be clearer, the current songs came directly from “Karaoke Version”. The new mixes were imported into Protools, rehashed then exported.
    Do I need to make the titles the same, is that how the song is matched with the stored lyrics?

        Yes, title and artist info must match with the original song and the iTunes library should only contain one song for the combination of title and artist.
