All Lyrics Vanished

Open Stage Traxx settings and check the option "Display". Maybe you switched from "Lyrics" to "Comments" or back.

peter OK, that's not it; it shows nothing in either Lyrics or Comments mode.

peter I did it in iTunes, and yes, I enabled Apple Music briefly my mistake on the iPad.

I will try it when I get back home, but the lyrics don't show up even when I open "Edit Lyrics" through "song info", so that's not a good sign. Meanwhile, I opened song info in iTunes on my Windows machine at work and the lyrics are there, just like on my home Mac, so it really looks like a disconnect between Stage Traxx and the way the tags are transported - I wouldn't be surprised if Apple changed something in the latest version of iTunes and caused all this.

So, where did you add lyrics to your songs. In Stage Traxx or in iTunes? Have you recently enabled Apple Music?

peter Thank you for the new version! So I turned off Apple Music already yesterday; right now I updated the app, turned off my iCloud library and turned it on again, and then reimported all songs - no change. No lyrics, no comments.

What I suspect happened: When turning on Apple Music, your library on the iPad has been replaced with the files from Apple Music which do not contain lyrics. If you also did that on iTunes on your computer, chances are that the files on your computer have also been replaces. Please check that they still contain the lyrics.

peter The files on my computers are fine, the lyrics are all there. That Sync Music isn't there anymore; iTunes simply shows that the iPd can be synced via iCloud and leaves no other option.

peter OK, once I turned off iCloud completely and re-synced, it worked - thank you! But that means I can't use iCloud on my iPad at all, right? That's outrageous even for Apple.

That's right. Syncing with iCould is working very unreliably in regards to lyrics.

If you want to use iCloud, I would recommend adding lyrics in Stage Traxx.

On a separate note, I program web apps and while I haven't worked with Objective C, it's just another OOP language with the dot syntax; I'd be happy to help you with Stage Traxx seeing how it's easily the best program of the kind in the market and I'd really hate to see it disappear.
