peter just a thought on distinguishing between track types, I know the interface is looking very busy with all the features we already have, and it has to work on iPhone as well,
Firstly let me give you my view on the 3 types of tracks we have now and their naming and colouring of the name so it can be identified by colour as well.
Name
Multi Tk Choose a colour
Single Tk Choose a colour
Lyrics Tk Choose a colour
I would identify all tracks in that wording with different colours that all stand out and place the wording at the bottom of the play and stop button so it is always displayed no matter what screen is open and I would leave out only on Lyrics as it is obvious what it is and I would abbreviate Track to Tk to shorten the space it takes so it can nicely fit on the start stop button, this way you would be able to identify what type of song you are dealing with no matter where you are in your list view you would know the track type using colour to easily distinguish between the three types of songs.
Lyrics only name is good but unnecessary some people might use it for chords only, or just prompts or many other uses so Lyrics Tk is good enough to distinguish between the three and it’s shorter so it fits on iPhone interface.
Vibrant standout colours that don’t clash with Green and Red of the stop start button and
The same colours to be used throughout the rest of the software manus like creating track types in song , giving visual smoothness to the workflow as well.
