Hi Peter, I have another question, I use a remote control "AirTurn DIGIT III". I set it up so the centre button is "Stop & Go". But there is a problem, each time I use it, it make's an unpleasant "Beep". I have already asked AIrTurn for a solution, but they said that there is no sound coming from their remote control and to get in touch with Stage Traxx.
So, is there a solution for my problem? and if yes, what should I do?

Stage Traxx does not generate any sound by itself. So I guess the beep is generated by iOS. Maybe you activated key clicks in the iOS accessibility settings or something like that.

Thanks Peter.
I've had a long discussion with an Apple specialist and we have done several tests, but without removing the beep from the start & stop button.
They say that it is not an iOS problem.
I also contacted Airturn and they say that there is no sound coming from their device.
So, what can be done about this unpleasant beep.

Please help me.

What mode are you using on the digit? Did you try other modes?

Also you made a seperate post for macOS. So is this an iOS or macOS problem?

Again, Stage Traxx will make no sounds of itself. It only plays audio files. So any beep is not coming from Stage Traxx.

Thanks Peter, I use mode 2, recommend by AirTurn. I tried all other modes but this did not solve the problem. So I'm stuck. Am I the only client that suffers from this problem?

I guess the digit is rather unusual as most users prefer pedals for hands free operation.

peter I setup digit 3 recently and I don’t have any beep on the centre button which I also use to stop start.
I also use AirTurn stomp 6 foot pedal at the same time so a total of 12 switches all at the same time with various functions and no beep sound on any.
It sounds to me like an apple device option setting is the issue unless the AirTurn Digit 3 has this option in the software setup which I haven’t come across but I would expect this to be an option there.
Have you used the software?
If no give it a try.

Pedals from Airturn and IK Multimedia generally work fine. Or if you only have the beep problem on one key, just stick to the other 4 keys of the digit.

Yes it does. But so does the Digit 3. So if the Digit 3 causes beeps, you will most likely also get them with the BlueTurn. I think you should first sort out these Beeping issues. Like I and Damir said, this is most likely an accessibility setting in iOS or macOS. You mentioned the problem on macOS. Try the following: open settings, select sound and soundeffects. Is "Beep" your selected effect? Change that or disable it completely.

Thanks, I check and you are right, it is "Boop", but I haven't found a way to disable it completely.
Do you know how t do it?

Why not turn down the volume or disable effects?

Yes, yes it worked, I did put the volume to zero, as result, no more beeb.

Hello Peter, I stumbled on an other little problem, I explain. I shortened one song and I also put in a fade out. That worked fine, however at the end next sons start too early. Or the the end of the first song is still being counted down, so there is a long silence.
Where did I do something wrong?

Not sure I understand your problem: So fade out and trimming does work. But you have silence at the start of the next song? Is this correct? And that song starts without silence when you have no trimmed song playing before it?

Can you try with another song? Maybe this song just has silence at the beginning?

Thanks Peter, but at the end of the trimmed song I see the counter at the right hand counting down the removed seconds from the song. That's one situation, the other is, the next song already start to play, like in cross-fading.

I can't reproduce the problem with not stopping at the defined end point. Do you have step by step instructions how to setup a song so that it does not stop at the defined end point?

I tried all different settings, but the result is always the same, at the end of the shortened song, the music stops, but at the top right corner the time is counting down the unused time, so the next song starts much too late.
I hope I made myself clear enough.

Wiebe Yes, but I can't reproduce this issue. How long is your song? Which start / end time have you set? What are your fade in/out settings?
