Kevtyler Yep, that video sums it up👍🏻
Again, I will try and explain clearly how I,me, and myself would like the queue to work:
1 My gig is a pub, so I must be prepared for anything, and with the 'Show Queue' activated, I select songs to the queue folder that I know are popular. With a SINGLE tap or mouse click, I select these songs from the songlist or a playlist and into the queue folder.
2 During the gig I see that I have to play some other songs than what I have prepared. I go to the songlist or a playlist, and with a single tap, the song is loaded into the player, and can be played from the songlist, playlist or the queue folder because it would also be there. (Pushing the play button, or as in my case, the pedal). I don't need to go to the queue folder to play it, but I can if I want to. If that single tap brings the song to the top in the queue folder, fine, it doesn't make a difference to me. A single tap on a song from the songlist or a playlist loads it in the player, and also brings it to the top in the queue folder. But I can play it from anywhere, playlist, songlist or queue. Once played, the song shows 'Done' in the playlist and songlist, but in the queue folder it's gone, as intended.
3 Some people in the audience come to me and request a few songs. I scroll my songlist and select these songs, each with a single tap. 'Show Queue' is selected , and therefore everything I select from a playlist or the songlist goes in the queue folder too. This time I would probably go to the queue folder and play the songs from there, so I don't forget which songs they requested. In the queue, a single tap loads the song in the player and brings it to the top ( if that's the only way to delete it after played).
This is how so many of my gigs go. I prepare some songs, or wing it at the gig, then 2 and 3 above is where I need a quick and easy queue to aid me. But right now, there are so many slides and double taps that slows me down, that I just prefer stay in the songlist. Less than ideal, but much easier for me than to use the current queue function.
I don't know if this was any clearer, I hope so.
Thanks mate.
