DickyDutch Hi Peter I’ve found a slight problem with the new feature that shows the next song to be played which incidentally is a great idea. If a playlist is loaded to the queue and the lyrics view opened the names of the first (Play) song and second (next) songs are shown correctly in the title field as expected. However If a song lower down in the queue is selected (double tapped) to play first, then the song titles are now incorrect.
peter Kevtyler Did you restore a backup from version 3.1? DickyDutch I will take a look at it. I think it is the same problem that @jzavaletta described.
peter New build 5440 Fixed the next song display when changing the next song while playback is running
Kevtyler peter hi peter, i will have another look, wasn’t there an issue you were going to address regarding back ups, it think it was mentioned in the past full or data base only backups requiring the same amount of space on the drive ? Cheers kev
peter Bazz02 I can see the crashlog now and I can reproduce it. It happens when the queue contains exactly one song. I will fix this shortly. Thanks!
peter Kevtyler Yes I did, see the changelog in the first post: "Fixed database only backup will check for wrong free storage space"
Kevtyler Hi peter you are correct, it was a database only that I restored, I created a full, but I can’t restore it to the beta because my pad is short on storage. Cheers kev
peter Kevtyler In that case you could restore the database backup and then just copy some audio files with the Files app from the 3.1 app to 3.2. That way you would have some of your songs available for testing. No need to copy your whole library just to take a look at the beta version.
peter I have just uploaded the final version to the App Store. It will be available in the next few days. So this thread is now closed. Thanks for all your help!
