Hm, can you post your Blueboard configuration? What midi commands does it send?
Hi Peter. It’s worked fine for years. Suddenly it has stopped. The pedal,is ok.
start stop. Midi ch 20.
it’s shows it ok. But it only plays if I keep, pedal pressed. If I take foot off pedal it stops the song..
It’s as though it’s turned into a latch type pedal. Does same on all buttons if I remember assign them.

SteveCherelle OK, but are you using it in Bluetooth LE mode or through the Blueboard app? And which MIDI commands does it send?
I have the Blueboard and for me it is working fine in mode B (Bluetooth LE without app). So I need some pointers from you how to reproduce the issue.
Hi peter.
i use in le mode
always works. Same set up and selections.
Now that command is different. If I press the button on the bluebird the song plays as normal but stops when I release the button. Before that button with that start/stop command d assigned would mean that on the first press the song would start. If I press again it would stop. That has changed. It’s a shame though the button has gone from a latched button to unlatched. It’s does it on all 4 buttons so it’s not the pedal that has the issued. Volume up down works ok.

SteveCherelle Thanks, the screenshot helped. So you are using your pedal in mode C which means that it sends CC messages. Please start your Blueboard in mode B by holding down the B button when starting. That will make the board send Note On / Off messages. You only need to select mode B once, the pedal will remember this setting.
Once you switched to mode B, relearn your commands and all will work just fine.
ST does and did always interpret CC commands differently to Note On / Off. For Note commands ST does only react to Note ON. For CC commands it reacts to state changes. The pedal is sending state 127 wenn pressing the button and 0 when releasing it. These are 2 seperate triggers for ST.
I guess you accidently switched to mode C and therefore experience these problems now.
Thank you.
you are correct with quick spot on advice.
thank you Peter.
you have helped with all issues with this app and that is excellent and the reason you have the best app for all of us.
I did that when I went to update the pedal.
sorted and thanks
Steve.
