Many of my Waveforms look more like a bunch of dots then a waveform. Is there a setting for this?

rcprog is there empty space or silence before your track starts? If so, go into song details and set the start and stop points.

rcprog The waveform generation is done with only one channel of the audio. Is it possible that you have a clicktrack on one side of the audio?

peter Yes there is a click track on the left side. Is there a way around this?

Only way currently would be to swap the click track to the right.

But I have a feature request on my todo list to change the generation of the waveform to sum up both channels. I will increase the priority for this request and try to fit it into version 3.2.

peter Will you be summing up both channels soon to generate the waveform?

You can choose in Settings between left, right or both channels.

rcprog I got it. I had to reload all my back tracks. Thanks Peter.

I have a problem with the waveform display of the multitrack song. This consists of a click, backings and my drum track, which I would like to have displayed as a waveform for orientation. However, this waveform is overwritten after loading the click track, which makes no sense. After that, I can no longer generate a waveform for my drum track because the generate button is no longer visible on this track. Is there a solution to this?

The longest file will always be used for the waveform. So if you can not choose another track to generate the waveform, your click is longer than the other tracks. Make sure your tracks have the same length. Then you can freely choose which to view in the waveform.
