Can't create new Tags

When creating a new keyword tag for a song, it doesn't save or create the keyword after hitting OK.

I couldn't on iOS26.1.0 - I even made sure to leave a blank space after the keyword and perform the task in Landscape like the repro video - still worked fine.

Couldn't test on iOS16.7.12 due to previously reported bug about text not displaying in dialog boxes, and the dialog only showing a cancel button.

Riff sorry for the 'captain obvious' first step, but have you tried rebooting your iPad?

Also, you've listed your iPad Air as being on iOS 18.6 - any reason for not updating to iOS 18.7.2 so we can at least get the device on the most recent iOS18 version and rule out any weirdness on earlier iOS versions?

I can't reproduce this issue both on iOS26 and iOS18.

Does anyone else see this issue?

Updated the OS to 18.7.2 and rebooted. Same thing, can't make new keywords.

So I tried in portrait mode, and it worked! Went back to landscape, and it didn't work.

That is extremely weird. I see no reason why the app should behave dependent on the screen orientation.

I also just tried with 26.1 in both orientations and that works fine.

It does not work on iOS16 and iOS17 though independent of the orientation. So maybe when I fix the dialogs on those two systems, it will also work for you.

The cause of this issue seems the disabling of the Create button. There seems to be a bug in the alert code that prevents the Create button from actually saving data if it was initially disabled. The only way to get this working reliably on all iOS versions is to keep the Create button enabled all the time on all iOS versions below 26.
