Problem switching main screen

When we double-click on the main screen, we get a screen with no icons, just lyrics and chords. Normally, double-clicking takes us back to the main screen (with icons). Since the last update, this hasn't been working very well; it takes a long time to switch, and sometimes it doesn't work at all. The problem occurs on both my iPad and my iPhone.

This seems to be a BUG with orientation change.
If you double tap to get to lyrics only then lay your phone flat you can then double tap to return.
I think it’s due to updates

I can't even seem to double-tap to return from 'full screen lyric' back to 'normal'. The only way I can make this happen is to tab away from the ST4 app, and then return to ST4, then double-click on screen, only then does it work.

Double tap on lyrics to open full screen lyrics is a new feature. Double tap on lyrics again to close the full screen lyrics. On my device this works flawless in both directions.

On IPhone 16 pro max it does not function that way , it depends on how you position the device ,
It’s a simple logic problem probably due to last updates.
If you are holding it upright and do double tap you won’t be able to return unless you lay it flat , this logic is reversed if you start of with device flat.

I can never return from full-screen lyrics mode (ST4 1937, iPad iOS 26.0.1) unless I

change orientation of device
tab away from ST4 app in iOS and return

Simple repro for me that is 100% reproable on my device:

Start in portrait mode
Double-tap on lyric page to enter full screen lyric
Double-tap on lyric page to exit - nothing happens. I can double-tap anywhere on screen until the end of time... nada.
Rotate iPad to landscape
Double-tap on screen, returns to normal view first time as expected.

If you change font size, the scroll speed icons disappear, and double tap works

I can reproduce the issue on my iPhone when it is lying flat. So I confirm. This is a bug.

musicadi Oh, pinch to zoom doesn’t work either when they are shown. Tapping scroll speed makes the icons disappear too
