I made a backup on my Ipad transferred it to my hard drive .then I went back to my Ipad and deleted the stsa file from stage traxx 3 file folder, but the storage on my Ipad did not go back to what it was . plus I had sync with icloud turned off . I need my storage back on my Ipad sat with apple for 2 hours with no help.

Tim did you also empty the bin?
I advise to make a full backup and store it on another hard drive as well, just in case.

Tim Common problem when trying to clear up space on an iPad 🙂

As Damir said, the file(s) you deleted are probably still sitting in the Trash in case you need to restore.

I find that when iPad is hooked to MacBook and I delete thru the finder (right click) that I also have to delete on the actual iPad. Reconnect and it’s gone.

It is in this case TOO secure!
