Multi-Track Audio goes out of sync

Whenever I use the multi-track option in Stage Traxx the audio slowly goes out of sync and I have to restart the app.

Ive been using the app on ipad for a few months now to play my WAV multitrack backing tracks but everytime I play a gig I have to restart the app before every song otherwise the audio goes out of sync (as we discovered during practise). This works as a fix but it isnt ideal as we want our songs to flow more freely into each other rather than constantly stopping and starting.

Does anyone know why this might be happening and how to fix it?

codemarla adding to Peter's response, you don't mention how you are connecting your source device (iPad? Mac?) to your mixer (via USB? Analog audio?).

As a starting point, you will need to make sure you are consistent with:

ALL your audio files, AND
The ST3 Internal Sample Rate (https://stagetraxx.com/user-guide/settings/#internal-sample-rate), AND
The sample rate setting in your mixer (if connecting via USB)
...having the same sample rate, i.e. either 44.1kHz or 48kHz
If there are any variations or inconsistencies (e.g. some audio files at 44.1kHz when ST3 is at 48kHz) then you can get symptoms like what you have encountered.

This sounds like a sample rate issue. Are all your tracks using the same sample rate? And is the internal sample rate in ST3 set to match this sample rate?

Thanks for the response. All the tracks are saved at the same sample rate, and they match the sample rate set on ST3.

My iPad is connected via USB to a Line 6 HX Stomp effects pedal. I send midi commands to is, and also audio. The audio the routes out of the sends via jack cables and into a mixer.

codemarla always best to avoid unspecific terms like "the same" as that is often where we pick up the core problem.

What is the specific sample rate setting of the files?
What is the specific sample rate setting in ST3?
I'm not 100% sure on this, but a quick skim of the Line6 HX Stomp manual says "Apple Class Compliant driver offers strictly 48kHz native sample rate operation"

So I would imagine that if the answer to Q1 and Q2 is not 48kHz (i.e. they are at 44.1kHz), then that may be the problem.

Sorry, I should have been more specific, they are all 48kHz. The iPad pro, ST3 and HX Stomp are all also set to 48kHz

If it happens again, please send me the log files right away with Settings > Create Support Email. Write in the email which song had the issue and at what time approximately. I might see the cause in the logs.
