Have just downloaded and paid for Stagetraxx 3, but having issues with family sharing to get it on my wifes iPad as a back up, as restoring purchase doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

Similar problem. Accidently paid for and downloaded Stage Traxx 3 using my wife's iPad. As purchase is linked to Apple ID I can't restore it on my iPhone using my ID. Tried family sharing so I could have a backup copy on my iPhone but can't unlock full version. Don't want to have to buy another copy. Any suggestions?

Your only chance is to get in touch with Apple support and try to get a refund or move the purchase to another Apple ID.

As the app developer, my hands are tied regarding the whole purchasing process.

I bought my version of st3 with my dads account,I logged him in on my own iPad. I then logged him off and logged in with my own details and I’m having no issues.

    Kevtyler When you say logged in Kev do you mean you changed the Apple ID details on your iPad to you dad's account then changed them back again to yours? Were there no issues with losing all your apps, contacts etc?

      It depends how much you rely on iCloud. Everything iCloud related is affected when logging out. Apps will not be deleted. I do a lot with iCloud so for me logging out is always a hassle.

      Hello guys, so sorry I’ve been awol, yes basically what I had was the version 2 of stage Traxx and I wanted 3. It was the start of lockdown and I had no cash in the back. I tried adding my dads Uk bank card to my Spanish iTunes and it got me nowhere. I logged off and signed on as my dad and upgraded st2, then logged back on as me. I have had no problems as of yet.

        You can change notification settings in your user profile, but there is no setting to follow everything on the forum. I set mine to get notificated for all threads where I have participated.
