I always QA check my DAW audio exports by opening them in another simple audio editor (in my case Audacity). This way I can usually quickly visually pick up any errors in time period selections (one stem being noticable shorter/longer than others), mono/stereo export mistakes, clicks at wrong volume, cues missing etc. by simply looking at the waveform.
I then give it a play through from start to finish as a 2nd stage of the QA to check for any timing sync issues, missing instruments, etc. before I copy across to the folder I put all my 'stuff to import into Stage Traxx' in to.
The other trap for new players is making sure you are using a consistent sample rate (either 44.1 or 48kHz) in your DAW export for every audio file and also in Stage Traxx settings.
