Looping sections for practicing new songs

Hi Peter, is there any way we can enter a practiced mode where we can loop a certain section while we learn how to play of sing that part (i.e. like cycling in Logic).

If not, might be interesting to see if there in an appetite for this feature from the users.Cheersm

Cheers Peter, thank you. Yep I do this already for song structure but was trying to find a way to be able to set temporary “practice” looping area (I.e. the last 2 bar of verse 2 going into half way through lead break then repeat; so we can practice that section - getting gig ready- without changing the song structure locators.

ST has no knowledge or concept of Bars, Beats, Measures, Ticks, etc. as it's not a DAW, so it's just not possible.
You load audio files and so it is all based on time (min, sec), from start to finish.

I'd also love there to be some magical way to get that arrangement and structure information into ST and have it auto-magically create the audio regions based on this, but it seems you have to be using Logic Pro (which can embed marker data into exported WAV files). Not sure if any other DAWs support this same feature, and to the same specification.
