"stop playing System audio" signals during a show/playback?

Iam thinking about using my iphone as a backup-solution. (for playing 2-track files, like metronome left, backing track mono right) next to my ipad with multi channel output.

But it seems that some things can stop the playback or get an annoying sound no one wants during a playback?
Like... phone is ringing, SMS, whatsapp, calender entry, timer, email... things like that.

Isn't this a problem?

Yes, I consider an iPhone only to be a backup device. And then I would turn on Airplane mode to not get any messages or calls during the gig.

iPads don't have this problem as they will usually be running offline during the gig. Even if you have a cell model you can not receive calls. But you have to disable notifications so that you don't get a sound when receiving messages.

Yes they do have the same problem if you have your Bluetooth ON, on both devices and your FOCUS settings ON , you still get messages pop up on Ipad in middle of performance, so the solution is if you need Bluetooth to be on to turn aeroplane mode on. on iPhone turn off focus and wifi if you don’t need it, this also saves battery power do the same on IPad, basically turn everything off you don’t need and then X you fingers.
Apple has not made it easy.
After a lot of stuffing around I now have no interruptions on stage.
