Control AmpliTube patch with embedded midi?

Hello all, can I embed patch and control midi for AmpliTube without using much resources?

I am thinking about eliminating my carry-on amp and going direct into the system. My interface is a Teenage Engineering TX-6 mixer with an iPod 7. It is very modest and small onstage. Matter of face, it all straps onto my Lap Steel! I run a small snake to multiple DI boxes. 8 out plus headphone from iPod 3.5 out.

So you are asking for a way to send MIDI to the iPod? From where? ST3 running on another iPad?

peter simply embedding midi messages in ST3 but asking of running AmpliTube AND ST3 together has much overhead on the iPod7 processor?

I don't know about the amount of resources being used by both apps.

I have no idea how many resources AmpliTube uses. ST3 is pretty light on resources if you don't pitch shift or change tempo.
