John is this something you could use a Bluetooth pedal for?
ST3 worse of STB
John I actually meant "song list" in this context. And my wish was that "auto select next song" would be optional
Well, as I said in my previous post, the Playlist acts in the same way as the Songlist. Also, it makes no difference that the next song in the list is automatically chosen as the next song. You can tap and choose any other song and make that the next song. This is no different than it was in ST2’s Songlists. It’s just now called Playlist.

Yes i understand that. But as I said before, I don't always have time to make a new song active. Or, I haven't decided yet what song to play next. Or I just want to see which songs on this list I haven't played yet. It is very frustrating when a list suddenly jumps to another position at the same time. Therefore, it would be very convenient if the song list view would be independent of the song that currently playing
Anyone who has used a similar app Back Trax will understand what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, this app is worse than the Stage Trax 3 in everything else

So, I've been sleeping on this. There are two things I could add as settings:
Hide the volume buttons and thus increase the size of the play button. This is already done automatically on the iPhone, so I could add a setting to always hide these buttons on all devices.
Add a setting to prevent the scrolling of the songlist when a song did finish playing. It will not prevent the selection of the next song, but you will not loose your current scrolling position.
John Apart from these settings. What you describe is exactly how the "Advanced Queue Mode" works. Basically you manage the queue by hand. If you stay on the songlist, a song will only be added to the queue when you choose to and you will not be bothered with the list jumping up and down. And if you always keep only one song in the queue, there will be no song preselected once the current song stops playing.

Thanks for the tip, it really works! True, as I understand, I have to make sure that there are always at least two songs on the queue list. Otherwise ST3 will jump back to another window after the current song is over and hide the lyrics. But that's not a problem. The main thing is that i can freely navigate through the songs list in this way, and not depending on the ending of the song currently playing.

It would really be a very useful addition! As clean as possible a front page with only the features I need, that would be good.
By the way, is there a possibility for donations here? The ST3 is a necessary tool for me and I am very interested in its continued development in the future

I do get this question from time to time. Donations is topic I first need to check against possible tax implications. And for this I did not have time in the last months. I hope that I can get some type of donation button running this year but ST3 development has precedence.
Open the settings tab, and go to Queue.

jzavaletta absolutely. 3 has answered many many questions for the performer. Therefore it necessitates a more comprehensive interface but it is far better than anything ST2 managed and VERY useable on stage.
Give it a break and put just a small amount of learning time in and I would then challenge anyone to fined a better on stage music playback app on any platform not just iOS.
