End Time Display for Current Playlist

Often times my bands sets have to start and end at a very specific time. As the set goes on, and there are inevitably small breaks between songs, etc. it would be very helpful to have some indication as to the current duration remaining in the active playlist. And to take it even a step further, it would be amazing if it could display what the current end time of the active playlist relative to the IPad clock so I don’t have to do the math in my head onstage 🙂

kwilliamaudio you can already do this. Just select estimated queue end in clock mode in user interface settings.

I agree, this would be useful. We often get near the end of a show and realise we have more music left than time allows. It would be great to see how the time is being eaten up as the night progresses. A simple “Music Time remaining “ counter would be great.

Is it possible to see the queue end time on an iPad that has joined a host session? Typically for my set up I have one iPad that shows the active playlist at The side of the stage, and then I have another iPad that joins the primary iPad’s host session, which I then screen mirror to a confidence monitor on stage. It would be amazing if the joined iPad could also display the queue end time.

No, that's only visible on the host iPad.

That's a feature I'd also like to have.

It's pretty common in my band to know that we have a finish time dead-line (usually due to environmental noise restriction rules at the venue) and so we usually have a final set that is a few songs too long in case we decide to skip a song here or there. Ultimately, as we get to about 15 mins before cut-off, we have to make a call on which songs we will play, and which we will cut.

Having that End Time Display for current Playlist for ALL devices (not just Host device) would better facilitate that band conversation.
