Thank you for a very nice, and good functioning app!
I use the autoscroll function a lot (where you put a time code at the scrolling point), it works
very well.
But when I play acoustik with no metronom, I miss the opportunity to scroll to the next verse, or whatever
comes next. - Now, I am only able to scroll a half or hole page at a time, when I hit my Airturn pedal.
Is it possible to make this a feature?
Maybe later in version 4. This would require a way to mark sections in the audio editor.
Why exactly does scrolling half a page not work satisfactory for this use case?
Manual scroll commands are never sent to the client devices. Only if you timestamp lyrics, there will be automatic scrolling on the client devices. Without timestamps, the lyrics will either scroll time based (here each client can adjust the scroll speed) or manually depending on the settings in the client.
peter Thanks for the answer. You caught me in something I thought was so. I have just noticed that the students have tried to scroll, themselves, but since they are both physically and some, mental handicapped, they are not able to scroll properly, themselves.
Autoscroll is not good, since the tempo varies from time to time, when we are not using backingtracks. Are there any way to get around this?
I used to use Onsong for years, still am, when I'm playing alone without backingtracks, since it can jump from section to section when I hit my Airturn pedal, which is a nice feature. It have some nice lyrics projection capabilities aswell. Appart from that, it was a big relief when I bumped into your Stage Traxx, since it works SO much better with backingtracks in a band. Onsong was driving me nuts in that matter.
If timestamping is no option, network clients have only the possibility to scroll manually. There is no other option in Stage Traxx.
