Global Muting|Multitrack

According to Scott Uhl, ST has the ability to apply global mute for all tracks. I have tried to do this but do not see the Multi Track routing as in this pic. Is this feature still available? Here is a link to his Youtube video. It's @ 22:36 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUb3M-hYtE4&t=747s

In the current version you can route tracks directly to ouputs or disable that track. This is done in Settings > Audio Routing. Select a track output and set it to "Disabled".

peter I am not seeing the MultiTrack Routing options. The iPad is routed to an XR18. I think the reason that I am not seeing this is because the iPad only has one output available?

No, it is no longer called Multitrack Routing. You just select an output directly for a track instead of selecting a bus and then an output for a bus. For example set Settings > Audio Routing > Track 1 Output to "Disabled".

Maybe I'm stupid, but I cant figure out how this global muting functions 😢
Would it not be logical to mute the tracks by name instead of bus number/name ?

All my inabled tracks are send to my mixer via bluetooth, so I cannot use Mute Groups.

Not sure what you are asking. What exactly do you want to achieve? And why do mute groups not work?

I am not saying, that the Mute Groups don't work. I'm just looking for the most simple way to mute one or more of my 4/5 tracks for an active playlist.

As always, it depends. If your tracks are already routed to buses, you can just mute the buses as you need it for the gig. If you route everything to a single bus or if you need to mute/unmute multiple tracks with one tap, use mute groups.

First all, it I cannot get to the mixer view before a song is playing.
Why is that ? 🙄

To use Mute Groups I would have to assign them first and I don't want to do that.
Why can't I just use the Mute Bottom on the track ?

E.g. The Mute Bottom for The Camilla track.

Of course you can do that but that only mutes the track in this song. If you want to mute the bass track on each song, you need to either setup a mute group for all bass tracks or route all bass tracks to a dedicated bus that you can then mute.
