Hi All,

I copy lyrics from Ultimate Guitar, open an online tool and convert the lyrics to ChordPro

But the converted lyrics/chords from UG are not great and I usually have to do a ton of editing to get it to look like I want

Is there a better place to get ChordPro chords/lyrics to copy/paste to ST3?

Robert not that I’m aware of and that’s what I do. I do usually spend a bit of time seeing which tabs are the best in terms of chord placement so I don’t have do as much editing post conversion though.

I'm an Appliance Repair Technician- 35th year in business- us appliance guys are a tight brotherhood- I've got good friends all over the country- we LOVE to help each other out- my Service Manuals folder, which has taken hundreds of hours of downloading service manuals and Tech Sheets, is shared with any Tech that wants it.

Unsure if this chat would the correct place to do this, but if a ChordPro Folder was placed somewhere, I would upload the completed songs I have- they may not be 100% correct, but close enough for me

Change the font options in Settings > Lyrics & PDF to fixed width font. ChordPro files usually use fixed width fonts. That should work way better.

peter ChordPro has the chords embedding inline with the lyrics, so a fixed width font shouldn't make a difference. If the file has the chords above the lyrics, I can see where a fixed width font would help.

Robert When I'm converting songs to ChordPro, I find that it's much easier to edit the chord placement after I've copied them into the convert tool (I use Ukegeeks) and before I hit the convert button.

You could check out ‘Chordie’ which is free and can copy and paste in chord pro back to Stage Trax. The chord reliability like UG may be not too your liking but easy to change.
