Air drop files from Mac to IPAD

I am using my Mac as my master . I have unlocked the free version . I first created a full back up on my Mac and this is on iCloud . I tired to air drop the file on my iPad . It asks me open with StageTRAXX 3 or files - I tried both but post that I still don't see the songs on the IPAD . What am I missing ?

You simply airdrop the full backup from iMac to your iPad, If this has been placed in to your Ipads ST3 folder it is simply sitting there ready for you to go back to ST3 settings and hit restore backup , then find this full backup and hit restore, now ST3 does a full restore and deletes everything that you previously had on ST3 and after this process you will have an identical version of ST3 that was on your iMac.
I would strongly recommend not to save this full backup in the ST3 folder as it will be erased if you needed to completely reinstall ST3, i suggest creating a seperate folder in FILES called (ST3 Full Backups) and having all your backups there as they will be preserved on both devices.
This way you end up with reliable backups on both devices.

The backup files are not automatically restored. You can restore the manually. The file will be directly in the Stage Traxx folder.

Damir Hi Damir - This was very helpful and set up ST3 full back up folder in the FILES as a new folder . How do I delete the earlier saved ST3 folder on the IPAD - do I leave it as is or delete it ?

Simple, go to ST3 folder, find the full backup within it , long press on it and select DELETE, then go to your FILES folder and empty the BIN this will save you hard drive space , full backups are normally large so I only keep the latest ones and delete all other old ones or you will run out of space very quickly.
