New guy here, considering Stage Traxx vs Ableton Push

Hi all, looking for the best way to start integrating backing tracks in with my band. Looking at stage traxx, and or possibly an ableton push. I have a few questions if anyone will humor a newbie like me.

are there recommended tiny audio interfaces that ppl use with stage traxx and iPad Pros? I'd want a stereo output for the house, and a stereo headphone out so send a click and cues, and as small as possible ofc.
does the bpm setting in the song affect playback? ie, if I import a click and backing tracks that have slightly different tempos in the verse and chorus, for example, I presume these tempos will be preserved?
I understand it is possible to repeat sections on the fly? ie, add ax extra chorus at the end of a song, even if the linear track is not built that way?
I'd eventually like to use the midi out feature to trigger lighting cues in photon. Has anyone done this successfully?
Is there a way to batch import pdf files from forscore? I have many many lead sheets I've made over the years and generally prefer reading these to lyrics and chords.

If these are all possible, then stage traxx might save me a good bit of money over an Ableton push, and even have some features that the push doesn't.

Hi there

1- anything with 4 outs and external power supply and something that doesn’t rely on a pc/mac app for internal routing. I also have an Evo8, works fine but if possible rather use something with its own PSU that won’t draw too much power from the iPads charger.

2- ST3 is a playback app, it plays the audio as it is regardless of bpm changes

3- you can set audio regions and repeat them as you like

Just note that since I’ve changed to the wired version of the node as the wireless had too many dropouts

Batch import of pdf is not possible. You need to select a pdf file for each song separately.
Regarding the interface: iOS compatible audio interfaces with their own power supply are usually a good idea. Most usb interfaces without a power supply require a powered hub,

Great, thanks guys, sounds like this may save me some $!

It occurred to me after I posted this that my mixer (A&H CQ18T) can be used as a USB interface; I will set it up and try it with my iPad and stage tracks. If that works it would be perfect, no need for additional hardware other than a USB C to B cable! (maybe a special one with an extra port for charging tho...) I did see a youtube vid of a guy doing this very thing with his behringer X18, so hopefully the A&H supports this too.

Your mixer will definitely work, I use a QU-SB
And know for a fact yours is supported.

There are very cheap USB C dongles that have USB A out (and in) HDMI and charging port (I use those) very cheap on Amazon and similar.

Nice, thanks. I was hemming and hawing on my mixer purchase for a while, and looking at the Qu, when all of the sudden they dropped the CQ series, which was perfect for me.
