Pad can’t see host.

Hi guys,

All of a sudden, I’ve touched nothing with st3, my iPad is not seeing the host on same network. I think the settings to allow this in iOS are maybe at fault, but I can’t remember what or where they are.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Peter.

St3 was switched off in privacy settings, local network etc, not sure how that happened. I’ve not been that deep in setting for months.

These unusual setting changes normally happen after updates.Sometimes they don’t get noticed for ages as you might not be using them for a while.
Then all of a sudden you get screwed.

Hi damir,

I was gigging in mid day Spanish sun yesterday, couldn’t hardly read my screens, I think I might have opened the rename host box in st3 settings and left again, without changing, which prompts st3 to restart, maybe Peter will confirm if this switches access to local network sharing off or not, I’m getting old, I think this was the case yesterday and in the past,

Stage Traxx can not change these settings. Only a user or iOS can do that. I guess iOS updates could reset these settings sometimes.

Thanks Peter, it’s just an anomaly maybe, it’s too deep in the settings to switch off in normal use I think, and I don’t think apple have released anything in the last few days. I just need to start a notepad to remind me how to fix these obscure settings on iOS,
