Hey,
first of all, thanks for this great piece of software, that safely led me through various crazy nights as the leader of a cover/wedding band.. I tried many other apps - Stage Traxx is the best one for my needs!

I have a question / feature request...
Until now, I never used the "Queues" feature as I never really managed to understand what happens when I click or double click on a song when the feature is activated. It just totally confused me I have to admit..

What I do while playing a gig is: I search for the next suitable song while playing a song, click on it, so I have it ready when the current song is finished...
And we often decide what to play next while the previous song is already finished!
So I can't use the queue-feature, as I want the selected song to be played immediately and not to be added to the queue.

Anyway, while searching for the next song, I come across songs, that I think of being perfect later in that set, but I can't mark them.. I have to write them down on a piece of paper..
Here, I think the queue-feature would be perfect.. not by clicking or double-clicking as I want to choose the next song by clicking on it, but by swiping and adding it to the queue, I could easily find it later in the evening..

what about the feature: double-clicking means adding it to the queue, single click means playing it next?

I hope I did explain that so you understand what I mean..

Thanks again for your work!
Michael

I think you need to familiarize yourself a bit more with the Advances queue mode as in that mode you can add songs to the top or bottom of the queue. So it has basically all the features you need.

You can set a default add location in settings (top or bottom of queue). When you tap on a song it will be added to this default location. But if you swipe a song to the right, you can add a song to the opposite location. That will accomplish exactly what you need.

Set the default location to top. And when you come across a song to play later, swipe right.

Thank you for explaining... I will try that!

Well I guess I have to put some work in using the queue feature, but I think this is a very good solution.. thank you - I just have to get used to it!

Is there a reason the "double click" feature does work on an iPad, but not on a MacBook? Or is it just me?
Nothing is happening when double clicking on a song..
Single click works perfectly...

MikeR Is there a reason the "double click" feature does work on an iPad, but not on a MacBook? Or is it just me?

Yes, double click events are not sent to the app but intercepted by macOS. No idea why.

I have a tutorial video for the advanced queue mode: https://youtu.be/xL7eINiMrak?si=FeeV3LPNWBFnxbbB
