I have been having issues between my mabcookpro (where I launch ST3) and my ipad (where I read the synched lyrics). often my ipad just disconnects and while playing the song, the ipad synched lyrics get stuck.

I wonder what's the maximum or "perfect" lenght for the bluetooth range? either between macbook and ipad or between ipad to ipad so the lyrics could sync perfectly?

Also, if all my backing tracks are in .wav format, is it an issue for not syncing and playing properly? what is the best setting for audio quality versus speed? I am using a M1 macbook pro and two ipads pro

Thanks!

Lishy I already use a router to mix with my x32 from behringer. Do you know where can i check that setup? ipad to x32 via usb c, same ipad to router via LAN, and router to Ipad 2 for lyrics? :/

Lishy Ok, so you mean... if my router WIFI name is "Liveshow" I should connect both ipads to the router via WIFI.. and they will communicate via WIFI instead of Bluetooth? I am lost 🙁 sorry.

or probably is there a way to connect between the ipads other than bluetooth? via wifi?

This is correct yes 👍. It will automatically prioritise wifi even if you have Bluetooth still on.

Lishy is 100% correct. Bluetooth no longer works reliably since iOS17.4. Just connect all your devices to your wifi router and that should take care of your issues.

peter awesome!! I had those bluetooth problems in a festival and I was freaking out. I will try it this weekend in a next show 🙂 Thanks to both of you
